Ortho K Eyedream is one recent innovation now available at Optique, which is an overnight vision correction programme that allows users to become free from glasses and contact lenses during the day.
Specially designed ortho-k contact lenses are worn when you sleep to reshape your cornea, to induce a change in the shape of the cornea and thus correct your prescription throughout the day when not worn. When ordering your contact lenses our optometrist will use a corneal topographer to map the contours of your cornea to manufacture the precision contact lenses.
Studies have shown that Ortho Keratology contact lenses also have the added benefit of slowing down myopia or short sightedness progression in children.
