It's time to pull back the curtains on the new Ensemble collection by Robert Oxley. This showstopping selection of original and limited edition works captures the artist's childhood memories of The Muppet Show, with Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear and Animal all taking centre stage. Available individually or as a set of five, these stunning hand-varnished prints are a nostalgic interpretation of one of the most iconic TV series of all time.
Harnessing five individual personalities from The Muppets, the Spring 2022 collection Ensemble, sees wildlife artist Robert Oxley depart from his usual subject matter and blow our minds by using his unique impressionistic style to represent and explore a"much-loved part of [his] childhood ".Created in the 1950s, Jim Henson's Muppets have since been adapted into a TV series, numerous theatrical films, and a world-wide brand, not to mention a key presence in most of our childhoods. This, however, if the first time that the hilarious ensemble has been captured with Robert's psychedelic style; bringing a new vibrancy and life to the characters.
