RIBA House of the Year 2017

A Harvey Jones kitchen has been featured in an award-winning architectural design, as it was installed in a house design that won the RIBA South West House of the Year 2017.

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is a professional membership body, and charity, helping to push the boundaries of architectural excellence. RIBA host their own annual Regional Awards, and this year 14 buildings were shortlisted for the South West prize celebrating stunning architectural concepts. This year The Quest, a contemporary build innovatively designed using concrete and featuring a cantilevered master bedroom, won the RIBA South West Award 2017 for House of the Year and RIBA South West Project Architect of the Year Award 2017.

The Quest features Harvey Jones' Linear kitchen design, combining classic sleek lines and minimalist styling with the project's overall modernist aesthetic. This open-plan Linear design features a bespoke blue island and a concealed walk-in larder. As with all Harvey Jones kitchens, the Linear range can be painted in any colour you choose.

The Quest has now also been shortlisted for Channel 4's Grand Designs House of the Year Award 2017.
