Jack Wolfskin open in the Exchange

Leading outdoor clothing brand, Jack Wolfskin, are due to open in The Exchange on Thursday 16th
March. The store is only their tenth stand-alone out in the UK, and is the first in Nottingham.

Launched in 1981, Jack Wolfskin are one of the leading manufacturers of outerwear in Europe.

Combining quality and comfort across a range of all-weather products, including clothing, footwear
and equipment, the collection offers protection and high breathability, as well as style and
functionality.

Neil Carson, proprietor of the store commented, "Jack Wolfskin selected Nottingham for its tenth store
in the UK for several reasons. Firstly, the economic case was compelling. The Nottingham/Derby
metropolitan economy is the 7th largest in UK with a population of 1.5 million. Additionally,
Nottingham city centre has an outstanding retail offer, with a great mix of high end brands and quality
independents, and we think Jack Wolfskin will be a great addition to that mix.

We also know that Jack Wolfskin works best in cities with a strong sporting/outdoor pedigree -
Nottingham residents can be in the Peak District Park within an hour and the city was named the
English Home of Sport in 2015, so we believe Jack Wolfskin should be good for Nottingham and vice
versa."

The Exchange Centre Manager, Neil Fincham added, "I know that Jack Wolfskin wanted their store to
be in The Exchange, as distinct from just in Nottingham. It's a testament to the appeal the arcade
continues to have for new brands coming to the city, and follows successful openings here for Dr
Martens and Patisserie Valerie in recent years. Jack Wolfskin is another great brand for the centre,
which I'm sure will add significantly to the wider appeal of The Exchange and Nottingham's shopping
offer."

Jack Wolfskin open at 5 -7, The Exchange on Thursday 16th March 2017.
