Christmas at The Exchange

The Exchange is Nottingham's oldest shopping arcade, with its magnificent grade II* listed buildings a spectacular sight at any time of year. This is doubly true at Christmas, when the centre is justifiably renowned for its beautiful decorations which look truly splendid in the arcade's rich Edwardian setting.

The Exchange has been at the heart of Christmas shopping in Nottingham since it opened in 1929, with millions of new and returning customers making it a must-see when visiting the city centre. This year's gold, bronze and white scheme perfectly complements the honeyed tones of the arcade's York Stone walls, with the magnificent tree a true focal point positioned beneath The Exchange's stunning central dome.

Home to some of the UK's most popular high street brands, including Dr Martens, Radley, Karen Millen, Crabtree & Evelyn, Bobbi Brown, Oasis and Jack Wolfskin, The Exchange also has a selection of unique independent stores such as the renowned fashion boutique Tutu and newly opened Little Red Gallery. There are also two eateries, Patisserie Valerie and Pret a Manger, ideal for a pit stop during a busy day Christmas shopping, along with the acclaimed Gauntleys Fine Wines whose selection of wines & spirits are perfect for stocking up the drinks cabinet.

With the stores packed with great gift ideas for all ages, there's certainly no shortage of inspiration for those inevitable present dilemmas.
