Sega Celebrates 25th Anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog…

...in collaboration with Washington Green Fine Art.

Washington Green, the UK's leading art publisher, has joined forces with SEGA Europe Limited to create a new collection celebrating the 25th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Featuring 25 original pieces from a selection of the UK's leading contemporary artists, supported by a body of limited edition publishing, the collection pays homage to the iconic videogame character who has been racing through games, TV, mobile, merchandise and more for 25 years.

Its new 'Sonic 25' collection sees eight Washington Green artists reimagine Sonic the Hedgehog in each of their own inimitable styles. Highlights include UK neon artist Louis Sidoli's portrayal of the gaming hero in a fusion of aluminium and neon, French artist Frédéric Daty's 3D wall pieces capturing Sonic in iconic poses and Dan Lane aka Mechanica's larger than life sculptures assembled from mechanical parts and other everyday items.

Other artists involved include the critically acclaimed Robert Oxley, Keith Maiden, Nic Joly, Paul Kenton and Craig Davison.

The 'Sonic 25' signed limited edition collection is now available nationwide.
